From December 3 to 15, Olaf Buter and Doreen Kruschina of Adamasgroup will participate in the North Cape Challenge, in the sign of the Sustainable Development Goals. A journey of over 7,200 kilometers, through 6 countries in 13 days, to the northernmost tip of Europe. Through snow, in the dark on slippery roads and defying the cold. There is no lack of highlights along the way, the magical Northern Lights, the North Cape Globe, husky rides and Santa Claus!
Our goal
The goal of our trip is to raise money for UNICEF’s ‘Plastic waste: building blocks for the future’ project. A project that recycles plastic into building blocks for classrooms. The Ivory Coast has a huge waste problem which is caused by illegal waste shipments, among other things, by our Western society. At the same time, 1.6 million children and young people in the West African country do not attend school. Together with UNICEF, we want to offer hope for the future of these children, young people and women in the Ivory Coast.
UNICEF trains mothers and young people in the collection, safe storage and processing of plastic waste. At UNICEF’s recycling factory, plastic waste is bought from the women for a fair price. The factory processes the plastic waste into building blocks, which UNICEF uses to build new classrooms. Our goal is to build at least one classroom. The cost for one classroom is € 10,000.

SUPER SPONSOR (€ 2000)
As a super sponsor, for this donation we will make a flag with your logo or (company) name, which we will fly at the North Cape. Of course we will make beautiful pictures of this, which you can also use for your own purposes.
